Reduce Sugar slowly

Get off the sweet wine.  Ease up on cookies and chocolate.  Just do it slowly and you will be rewarded with a whole new world of taste.  Long since disguised by the seductive sweetness of refined sugar.

Careful with Carbohydrates

Because carbohydrates generally come from shallow rooted annual crops, their mineral or nutrient value is at best suspect due to years of acid fertilizer, but also they are the easiest products to refine and extract saleable nutrients from, leaving industrial waste for you to eat.  Whole grains are low GI (good).  This is because they still contain fibre and nutrients making them release or digest slowly.  This delays the time till you feel hungry again.

Avoid eating carbohydrates after lunch.  Carbohydrates provide energy and if you eat them just before sleep, you will store them as more fat..  bugger.

99% fat free means that it is usually 99% free if anything important for good health.  Worse, they can be dangerous to your health!

Drink plenty of CARBON Filtered Water

Dont be fooled.  Water does not make you fat.  It will save your arse, literally.  If you are dehydrated your stool will be hard and infrequent.  Drink until you are regular and soft.
